What is it?

An opportunity to bring old or unused electronics and take them apart to examine their different parts and learn how they work. All parts brought in can be taken home, but we can dispose some as well on your behalf. Once participants learn about the inner workings of electronics, they will also be taught methods of disposal and recycling tech! Information on STEM careers and opportunities will also be available.

What do you need to bring?

</aside>

• Yourself!
• Old tech (phones, computers, old vacuum, broken appliances, old gaming consoles, etc.)
  • Something that you want to take apart
  • You will (most likely) not be able to use this tech ever again!
• Hair ties
  • IF YOU HAVE LONG HAIR PLEASE TIE IT BACK FOR SAFETY
• Tools
  • For taking things apart
  • Screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.
  • Please limit sharp or otherwise dangerous tools (knives, saws, etc.)
• Optional: Gardening gloves
  • For hand protection
  • We will have a couple on site if you forget
